Cook's Night Out

A free monthly dinner open to the community served from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Commons.  Call to volunteer to help serve.

Our Commitment:
Our intention is to provide community and fellowship by providing and partaking in a meal with our guests who may be single parents, families, seniors,  poor, homeless, or lonely.

What We Do:
Once a month, a good home-cooked meal, in a family setting is served, providing nutrition for the body and nurturing for the spirit. There is an opportunity to serve behind the scenes, cooking, setting up or cleaning up, as well as providing community; visiting and enjoying each other’s company.

Time & Training Required:
Volunteers are not scheduled, instead they ‘show-up’ as they feel drawn.  Typically, volunteers allot approximately 2 - 4 hours per month. No training required, but your specialty dessert may make you famous.

Helpful Attributes:
Adults, young adults, and children who have a servant’s heart and the gift of being hospitable, or a desire to work behind the scenes doing whatever it takes.
