Usher

Our Commitment:
Cheerfully maintain order within the sanctuary and gathering space allowing all parishioners to fully participate in the Mass.

Time & Training Required:
Ushers average serving at least 2 times per month. Must be flexible to serve as a substitute when needed.

What We Do:
Ushers greet people warmly, introduce strangers, help people sit together, pass out hymnals when necessary, care for any needs (if someone gets sick or other emergencies), take up the collection, help with good order at Communion, distribute bulletins in the course of saying goodbye to everyone, and direct people to coffee in the Commons.

Helpful Attributes:
Hospitable, friendly, outgoing people; age 15 and up. No particular skills necessary. However, need to be trainable for job duties as well as light medical emergency response (CPR, AED).
