Author Visit

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton had the privilege of having author, Beth Ferry come to visit the school to read her new book, The Scarecrow.

We are so excited that we were able to add 500 titles to our library this summer with the proceeds from the Scholastic Book Fair and from donations made by families and parishioners.

About Mrs. Weathers

Jamie Weathers is St. Elizabeth's Librarian, technology teacher, and ALPHA coordinator. She joined the faculty in 2016.   Mrs. Weathers graduated from Covington-Douglas High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University and is earning her Master's in Library Media Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma.  She has previously taught at St. Francis Catholic School in Yuma, AZ.  Mrs. Weathers has also served as the Director of Religious Education and Catholic Community Coordinator at Yokota Air Base in Japan.  She grew up in Marshall, OK.  She and her husband have two daughters and attend St. Monica's Catholic Church where she is a cantor for the choir.  Her hobbies include long-distance running, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.
