Children too are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward.
-Psalm 127:3

The St. John's child care facility is located on the east side of the Rev. John A. Petuskey Great Hall in the Parish Center.

For Mass, we accept children from birth through kindergarten.  Our Pastor recommends that children in first grade and higher attend Mass with their families.  The child care facility is also available for many other events and activities offered by the Parish.  Older children are welcome to use the child care facility for non-Mass events.

The child care facility uses KidCheck, a web based secure check-in system.  If you are new to KidCheck, we can help you create an account when you visit the child care facility.  If you prefer, you can create an account by going to the KidCheck website or download the free KidCheck Mobile Check-In app (the app cannot be used to check your child into the child care facility; the app is strictly for account setup and maintenance).

In order to protect the health of our children and caregivers, we kindly ask that you not bring your child into the child care facility if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours: Diarrhea, vomiting, fever, rash, open sores, excessive discharge from the nose, etc.

No medication is ever dispensed in the child care facility.

Please notify an employee of any allergies your child may have when you sign them into the child care facility.

Each child care employee has passed a background check and has attended the Safe Environment Workshop, as mandated by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.  In addition, our child care staff are trained in First Aid and CPR.

Mary Jo Fischer has been a parishioner at St. John's since 1982, where she and her husband, Joe, raised their 9 children.  Mary Jo ran a daycare in her home for 15 years prior to taking over responsibilities as Child Care Coordinator.  In addition to the child care facility, Mary Jo also helps out in our Children's Day Out Program.  In her free time, she enjoys preserving her family memories with scrapbooking and making new memories with her 19 grandchildren.
