A social, service, educational, and spiritual group for single Catholic adults 55 years of age and older.

Our Commitment:
Our intention is to provide camaraderie and friendship to single people, those who have no family, and the poor.

What We Do:
Consensus seems to be that people are most lonely on Sunday because many used to eat out and spend the day with their spouses and children. Most of our meetings are on Sunday and we do movies and eat out every 2nd Saturday. We see to it that those who are hospitalized or very sick have a basket of canned items to help when they return home from the hospital or rehab. We are able to visit people wherever they are, even at St. Ann's in OKC.

Time & Training Required:
Allot 3 hours per month for Sunday events or meetings. Also plan time to make phone calls, send e-mails, and write bulletin announcements. A planning meeting is held in January and lasts approximately 3 hours.

Helpful Attributes:
Ability to get along well with others, flexibility, willingness to participate in planned events - like contributing to The Samaritan House, making cookies and other items at Christmas, crocheting, and filling baskets for the needy, etc.
