Director of Music & Organist

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, Oklahoma of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, a parish of 4,000, families, is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Organist to work with cantors, adult choir, and school-aged choirs to continue developing our sacred music program. The Director of Music and Organist is responsible for directing all aspects of the sacred music program including planning and providing music for weekend Masses, weekly school Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in choral conducting, organ, and Catholic liturgy. Requirements include holding a bachelor’s degree in music or a related field and 2 - 5 years equivalent experience.

Faith Formation Volunteers

Men and women of all ages – from older teens to retirees – are needed to serve in our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs. No experience is necessary - just a desire to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our children! Being involved in this process allows you to deepen your own faith, meet new people, and build our parish community. We will provide you with all of the resources you need to teach and lead the children and youth in our program.
