Full-Time Coordinator of Campus Evangelization and Discipleship

The Coordinator of Campus Evangelization and Discipleship is responsible for all aspects of collegiate ministry at the University of Central Oklahoma with the Chaplin, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Archdiocesan Staff, volunteers and student leaders. This position will also help coordinate Young Adults, ACTS and Alpha for the parish.


This position is required to convey the Church’s message and to assist in carrying out the Church’s mission. Every Employee of the Archdiocese and its affiliates is expected to exemplify a spirit of service to others, in words and actions, to support clergy and religious, volunteers, colleagues, parish communities, and all others in a compassionate, professional, truthful, and friendly manner. St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, an active, growing and vibrant parish, is seeking a Coordinator of Youth Ministry. This position works collaboratively with and under the direction of the Pastor and the Director of Mission to lead young people, grades 6-12, in becoming active and intentional disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. The coordinator will work with parents to support their duty to train their children in the practice of the faith and to bring them up to keep God’s commandments as Jesus taught us, by loving God and our neighbor (from The Rite of Baptism). Faith Formation Volunteers

Men and women of all ages – from older teens to retirees – are needed to serve in our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs. No experience is necessary - just a desire to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our children! Being involved in this process allows you to deepen your own faith, meet new people, and build our parish community. We will provide you with all of the resources you need to teach and lead the children and youth in our program.
